So as you know, The Income Tax Department
launched its new E-filing portal on Monday, 7th June, so it is now directing taxpayers
to re-register the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) on the new Income Tax e-filing portal
as the earlier digital signature on the old portal cannot be migrated for technical and
security reasons..

In today’s video, we’ll see how to do
just that in a few minutes in 6 easy steps. But before we start, make sure of the following
points: • For registering DSC, the taxpayer must
be a registered user of the e-Filing portal with valid user ID and password. • The USB token procured from a Certifying
Authority Provider should be plugged in to.

as shown on the screen. Now click on DSC Management utility and download
emSigner software and install it on your PC. 2. Next, log into the E-filing website (www.incometax.gov.in)
using your Login particulars such as the user ID which may be your Aadhar Number, PAN or
any other ID and password of the company/firm/HUF/Individual.
